Legacy on Ice
Sunday, March 2 · 3 - 5pm EST
Legacy on Ice is a special live figure skating event at Capital One Arena honoring the 67 individuals lost in the recent aircraft collision at Reagan National Airport, many of whom were members of the local figure skating community. Hosted by Olympic champion Brian Boitano, the event features performances from top skaters including Ilia Malinin, Amber Glenn, Alysa Liu, Madison Chock & Evan Bates, Tara Lipinski, Kristi Yamaguchi, Scott Hamilton, and Johnny Weir. All proceeds will support the U.S. Figure Skating Family Support Fund, the DCA Together Relief Fund, and the DC Fire & EMS Foundation. Ticketmaster will waive all fees to maximize donations.
Mardi Pardi
Tuesday, March 4 · 6 - 9pm EST
Bayou Bakery, Coffee Bar & Eatery brings the spirit of New Orleans to the DMV with its 15th annual Mardi Pardi, transforming the eatery into a festive Bayou Gras celebration for Fat Tuesday. Guests can enjoy authentic Louisiana parade fare, drink specials, and live music, all curated by New Orleans native Chef David Guas. Entry requires the purchase of a Grub Ticket, which includes a selection of classic Cajun and Creole dishes like Crawfish Monica, Gulf Shrimp Jambalaya, Chicken Andouille Gumbo, and more. Drinks, including Hurricanes and Abita Beer, can be purchased on-site, along with traditional desserts like King Cake and Beignets. Guests will also receive a complimentary souvenir cup and Mardi Gras beads to complete the experience.


Women's History Month Wine Tasting

Beauty Champagne and Sugar Boutique hosts a Women’s History Wine Tasting in honor of Women’s History Month, featuring wines from Slater Run Winery, a woman-owned vineyard known for its French-style wines made with Virginia-grown grapes. Guests will enjoy a guided tasting of four featured wines while celebrating the contributions of women in winemaking. The event is free for Wine Club members and one guest, with a $15 fee for non-members, including a $5 credit toward any wine purchase.

Kitten and Baby Wildlife Shower
Saturday, March 8 · 10am - 12pm EST
The Animal Welfare League of Arlington (AWLA) invites the community to its annual Wildlife & Kitten Shower, celebrating the start of baby season at the shelter. This family-friendly event offers a behind-the-scenes look at the care and dedication required to nurture kittens and baby wildlife. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet some of the shelter’s tiniest residents, participate in educational activities, and learn how they can support these animals. Admission is free, but guests are encouraged to bring a donation or contribute through AWLA’s Baby Registry. No tickets are required, but RSVPs are appreciated.



Discover Arlington + The Davenport Group: Virtual Home Buying Workshop

The Davenport Group hosts a Virtual Home Buying Workshop designed to help renters and first-time buyers navigate the path to homeownership in 2025. This interactive happy hour session will cover essential topics, including strategies for winning in competitive markets, how to save thousands on mortgages, understanding hidden costs, and avoiding common first-time buyer mistakes. Hosted by Blake Davenport, co-founder of Discover Arlington and founder of The Davenport Group, the workshop offers expert advice, real data on market trends, and proven tips to help buyers make confident decisions. Cherry Blossom Tea at The Ritz-Carlton

Celebrate D.C. and Virginia's iconic cherry blossom season with a Cherry Blossom Afternoon Tea, a limited-time experience featuring Japanese cherry blossom-inspired tea sandwiches, pastries, warm scones, and a curated selection of luxury loose-leaf teas, all served with a glass of sparkling wine. Younger guests can enjoy the Teddy Bear Tea, which includes special treats, their choice of tea or hot chocolate, and a keepsake cherry blossom teddy bear. Afternoon Tea is $88 per adult, and Teddy Bear Tea is $55 per child (12 and under). Reservations are required!

Shamrock Bash at the Clarendon Ballroom

Get ready to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style at the Shamrock Bash at Clarendon Ballroom! This lively, three-floor party features festive drinks, green beer, shamrock shooters, Guinness specials, tasty bites, live entertainment from local bands and DJs, performers, giveaways, yard games, and plenty of St. Paddy’s Day fun. National Cherry Blossom Festival
March 20 - April 13, 2025
The National Cherry Blossom Festival extends beyond D.C., with Arlington celebrating the season through local events, art installations, and cherry blossom-inspired specials at restaurants and shops. Honoring the 1912 gift of cherry trees from Tokyo to Washington, D.C., the festival highlights the friendship between the U.S. and Japan while welcoming spring across the region. Many Arlington events are free and family-friendly, offering a fun and festive way to enjoy the blossoms close to home.
Flower Arranging Workshop

Enjoy a creative evening at the Spring Flower Workshop at Awbrey & Sons Restaurant, located at the Hyatt Centric Arlington. Guests will receive expert guidance from Celebrating Your Moments Now Flowers (CYMNOW Flowers) while creating their own floral arrangements. The workshop includes sparkling wine, light bites, and all materials needed. All attendees will also be entered into a drawing for a complimentary one-night stay at the Hyatt Centric Arlington. Hoppy Hour Meditation

Hoppy Hour at Lost Boy Cider in Alexandria offers a unique 45-minute meditation experience in the company of rescued rabbits from the House Rabbit Society of Maryland/DC/NoVA. Guests will enjoy a guided meditation focused on self-compassion and connection, all while surrounded by the calming presence of bunnies. Tickets include a beverage of choice, with proceeds supporting the rescue and rehoming efforts of the House Rabbit Society. Guests must be at least 10 years old to attend, and space is limited.
Pink in the Park: Pink Beats

Celebrate spring with Pink Beats, a live music and happy hour series at Water Park in National Landing. This festive event combines live performances from top local musicians with cherry blossom-inspired food and drinks from the park’s kiosks.
